Our counselling service is partnered with Be U Notts who are the new provider for early support and intervention for children and young people In Nottinghamshire.

By referring for support via Be U Notts you will able to access a range of support services including Base 51 counsellors who can provide one to one weekly sessions and focused group work. To access this service you must have a registered GP with Nottingham city or county. Please click the 'Make a referral' button.


Base 51 counselling service can also offer "Drop-in" counselling sessions for anyone who is in need of support sooner- to access these sessions please call 0115 952 5040 to check availability. Sessions can be booked up to 48 hours in advance.

If you been affected by serious violence within the past 2 years you may be eligible for our specialist trauma service Evolution. See Evolution page.

World Mental Health Day 2022

#worldmentalhealthday2022 is approaching!

its not too late to get your BASE 51 wellbeing box.

It’s just £10, all profits will support our work, when you purchase one we’ll give one to a young person AND you’ll be entered into a prize draw for an Afternoon Tea for 2 at the Lace Market Hotel!

The Wellbeing Box has been put together by staff and young people at Base 51, and contains:

· 16 page wellness guide created by Base 51
· A stress ball made by the young people at Base 51
· Colouring Pencils
· A beauty product donated by Asda Arnold
· Bubbles (because who doesn't love bubbles?)
· 'Proud of You' sweets by The Treat Kitchen
· A keyring made by the young people at Base 51
· A hand-knitted drinks coaster
· A Bookmark
· And more!

The perfect way to perk you up as winter approaches! All whilst supporting a local charity.
