Base 51 Counselling

On the 31st March 2024 our partnership with Be U Notts service is coming to an end! This means there will be some changes to our offering.

From April 2024 Base 51 will be offering fully-subsidised early-intervention person-centred counselling sessions with one of our counsellors in training (all of whom will be supported and supervised by our fully qualified practitioners) for anyone whose household income is less than £30,000.

Young people can access up to 6 sessions free of charge - though a contribution to our charity is appreciated if they are able. (Further sessions may be charged at full rate.)

Early intervention is perfect for young people with mild anxiety or depression, self image issues, suffering from bullying etc.

We also offer part-subsided counselling with qualified practitioners subject to assessment where a trainee would not be appropriate (severe trauma etc)

If a persons household income is over £30,000 per year, sessions are charged at £45 per 50 minute session with a qualified practitioner.
