We're Base 51 and we've been supporting 11-25 year olds in Nottingham for over 30 years. We're a safe place for young people to just come and hang out, or to access support.
How do we help? - Counselling - Youth Club - Specialist Trauma Support (Violent Crime, Exploitation, Modern Slavery, Human Trafficking) - LGBTQIA+ Group Outburst - Music Recording Studio & Dance Studio - Social Prescribing (GP Surgeries) - Practical Support (Hot Meals, Showers, Laundry, Food Parcels, Clothes Bank)
We help young people from all over the City and County, from all walks of life. We're a friendly, supportive, understanding and knowledgeable bunch!
We also have a Training Academy to train Youth Workers - so we know what we're doing when we talk Youth Work We take student placements and we're always looking for volunteers - whether it's in Youth Work, Marketing, Events or Business Admin!
We have a range of events throughout the year to raise funds for our charity, keep an eye out on our socials or event page to see what we've got coming up.
